Just like a business, a community needs leaders.
Leadership is not given, it's earned. And earning takes commitment, passion, perseverance, helpfulness, impact, listening...I could go on and one.
Communities don't need more moderators, admins, and other community roles. They need real people to step and lead.
To help create change, connection, and belonging.
To help shape the community so it feels safe, welcoming, and a joy to be part of.
Leaders put themselves last and other members first.
A strong community will have multiple leaders and these leaders will simply step up and lead. They won't be asked.
