Search engine optimization is falling out of flavor.

A better way to think about search today is to think about all of the different ways people search now. It spans far beyond a search engine homepage. 

People search on social sites, in communities, on websites, with ChatGPTs, with their voice, and in other ways and places. 

The tip today is simple. 

Think about how you're optimizing for all the places people search. How many places can you control directly vs. indirectly, and where should you allocate your time?

The best way to find this out is to ask your buyers and customers how they found you and where they do their research.
