To be a truly untied GTM team you need to set one North Star metric that all the go-to-market teams try to achieve together.

This could be a revenue number, a retention number, or maybe a profitability type number. 

The point is to pick one number every GTM team gets behind and can impact in some way. 

The key then is to teach and enable the teams to understand how they can impact it and how their job affects the outcome. 

Sharing examples on a weekly basis about how people are impacting the number, directly and indirectly, is one of the best ways to create a united GTM culture.
